By paying and confirming your order, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.

CUSTOM CELEBRATION CAKES

ORDER CONFIRMATIONS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICY.

 

A minimum of 7 days notice must be given in the case of any changes or partial cancelations. Pricing is based on the entire order therefore, changes to the number of servings may not proportionally reduce the price of the order. To secure your booking a 50% non-refundable deposit must be made within 3 days of receiving a quote, without the deposit your order is not confirmed. Once a design has been sent to you with a quote, it is held for you for 72 hours. The deposit must be made within this time. After the 72 hours are up, the booking maybe given to the next client or include a rush order fee. If 72 hours have passed and you would still like to place the order a $10 penalty will be applied to the order total. If you wish to cancel your order you will not be refunded the 50% deposit made upon order confirmation. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to pick up.

  

RUSH ORDERS

An order must be placed within 2 weeks of the due date otherwise it will be considered a rush order. All rush orders under $100 will have an additional $10 fee. All orders over $100 will have an additional 10% rush order fee. Rush orders only have 24 hours for the deposit to be made after the quote is sent. The full payment is due at the time of which the invoice is sent for orders placed with less than 7 days notice. Rush order fees are doubled for orders placed with less than 2 days notice.

CHANGES TO CAKE DESIGN/ORDER

All changes must be made at least 7 days before the pick up/delivery date and it must be confirmed in writing by Savannah Confections. Any changes to the original design may incur additional costs. In a circumstance where we have to cancel we will give as much notice as possible and we will try to come up with a suitable agreement. If you are still unhappy we can look into issuing a refund.

CAKE DESIGN

All of our cakes are handmade to order so there may be some variation in colors, decorations and design. Design elements often rely on product availability. We do not copy the work of other cake artists. With that in mind, if you choose to use another cake for inspiration it will not be an exact replica. We can offer an inspirational sketch of your order prior to order if requested however the final product may vary. If you request a sketch, once you've agreed to the design and paid your deposit, you forfeit the right to any compensation in the event that you are unhappy with the outcome of your order. If you do not state that you would like an inspirational sketch before making a deposit, you forfeit the right to any compensation in the case that you are unhappy with the outcome of your order.

COLLECTION/DELIVERY

All deliveries come with an additional delivery charge which will be stated in your invoice. Delivery fees vary and are dependent on location and order size. Once your cake has left our premises we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur. If you miss your pick up time, your cake may not be stored in the fridge and may risk damage whilst being transported.

 

TRANSPORTATION

Cakes must be kept on a flat surface, either in your passenger floorboard or safely nestled in the trunk of your vehicle. 
You must NOT keep the cake on the passenger seat of the car. I also do not recommend holding the cake.
Ensure the heating in the car is off and if it is a warm day, make sure the AC has been running for some time before the cake goes in the car.
Avoid all sunlight directly on the cake. Hold the cake by the base only and do not hold it against your body.
Keep the cake in the fridge, we recommend only taking it out an hour before you wish to eat it. 
When transporting cakes, ensure they have been in the fridge beforehand. Travelling with room temperature cake is most likely going to cause damage.
Please drive very carefully as we are not responsible once the cake leaves our premises.
Once cut, store in an airtight container or wrap it in plastic wrap.

WEDDING CAKES

All wedding cake prices are tailored to each cake.
Once a design and quote has been sent to you, your date will be held for 3 weeks. 
To secure your booking a 50% non refundable deposit must be made and the outstanding balance must be made at least 10 days before the wedding date. 
Orders are not secured unless the deposit has been paid.
Wedding cakes with less than 4 weeks notice will have to be paid in full. 
Any changes made to wedding cakes must be made at least 4 weeks prior. 
Once a cake or any other desserts have been picked up, delivered, or set up we can not be held liable for any damages done.

NOTICE

If your order is placed with less than 3 weeks notice and we need to order any personalized items, should the item not arrive in time or get lost in the post a refund for the item will not be available.
